The Lunar New Year holiday is three days, and some folks may take more than two weeks. On New Year's Eve, everyone will go to the flower market to buy all kinds of flowers, souvenirs, and add new clothes to the home. At the beginning of the first day of the new year, there will be family gatherings and congratulatory gifts and red envelopes will be distributed. All kinds of large-scale performances and celebrations, such as parade parades, lion dance performances, fireworks in the night sky of Victoria Harbour, and horse races. Shatin Che Kung Temple, Wong Tai Sin Temple, there will be large-scale sacrifices and worship activities, praying for a better year. Theme parks such as Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park, etc. will also have large-scale events themed on the Chinese New Year. |
